An Afternoon with Irish Poet Nathaniel McAuley

Saturday, March 8 at 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Southeast Anchor Library, Auditorium 3601 Eastern Avenue Baltimore, MD 21224

Nathaniel Joseph McAuley is a poet from Belfast, Ireland. He is a graduate of Queens University Belfast where he studied for a Masters Degree in Creative writing. His debut chap-book “The Dyer’s
Notes on Indigo” for the Belfast Book Festival was a local success, and his subsequent readings and publications have been described as “spellbinding” and “a tour de force.”

Working under the legendary Ciaran Carson, Nathaniel McAuley has been named the 2014 ACES Awardee by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, where he sat last September as poet in residence for the 50th anniversary of the death of Louis MacNiece.
