In the Poe Room: noon - 1 p.m., "Understanding Your Finances with author Robin Hays; 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., Spoken Word Hour

In Wheeler Auditorium: 2 p.m. - 2:50 p.m., "Good Kid Madd (Maturing Adolescent During Depression)" with moderator Mark Johnson; author Sadiq Ali; Macee Whitehead, Carroll School of Dance; Kelly Little, Druid Heights Community Center; and Nyilah Covington, Pratt Library teen librarian.

In Wheeler Auditorium: 3 p.m. - 3:50 p.m., "The Digital Era" Literary Panel with Nikki Woods, producer of Tom Joyner morning show; Troy Johnson, founder; author Trice Hickman; Ella Curry, EDC Creations founder; and author Sheri Booker.

This was the first time I went to a book festival. I went to a lady that was selling her book of poetry, I'm a poet myself so I was interested in reading some of her work.
