Rick's Cafe Americain is the setting for this film classic. Rick must help Ilsa, the woman he loved in Paris, secure documents allowing her to flee the German occupation with her husband Victor Laszlo, a Czech Resistance leader.
The film was rushed into theaters in November 1942 to take advantage of publicity from the Allied invasion of North Africa and garnered Oscars for Best Picture, Director, and Adapted Screenplay. It's a "must see" film for anyone's life list.
