Introduction to Excel Part I

Learn about spreadsheets, toolbars and buttons, and how to save files. Learn different uses for spreadsheets. Become familiar with formatting and printing. Take simple calculations to the next level by linking worksheets and workbooks to create more comprehensive spreadsheets. Create charts and graphs from your data. This class is taught in two sessions. Please bring a flash drive (not required, but helpful) if you would like to save your work.

Prerequisites: Introduction to Computers, Windows, Internet and Microsoft Word 2010 (experience with other office programs helpful).

The instructor taught what intimidated me the most...the formulas and functions. Also the borders was a new lesson and great. I can figure out formatting colors and inserting pictures but I really got what I needed to create reports faster and more efficiently at work.
