Let's Talk About It: Muslim Journeys

The Reisterstown Road Branch hosts this free five-part scholar-led reading and discussion series. Participants will explore the histories, faith and cultures of Muslims around the world and within the United States  through informed conversations facilitated by Morgan State University professor, Vadim Jigoulov. Each of the sessions will focus on one of the following titles which are available for checkout from the Pratt Library (in limited quantities):

Tues. March 4 - The Children of Abraham: Judaism, Christianity, Islam by F. E. Peters

Tues. March 25 - Muhammad: A Very Short Introduction by Jonathan A. C. Brown

Tues. April 8 - The Story of the Qur'an: Its History and Place in Muslim Life by Ingrid Mattson

Tues. April 22 - he Art of Hajj by Venetia Porter

Tues. April 29 - Rumi: Poet and Mystic, edited and translated by Reynold A. Nicholson
