Have you ever thought about starting a nonprofit or formalizing an existing organization into an IRS-recognized charity? Bring your ideas and questions to this seminar where you will learn more about the pros and cons of being a nonprofit and the process and costs involved so you can evaluate whether starting a nonprofit is right for your group.

Heather Comstock has been involved in the Maryland nonprofit sector for over ten years and with the start-up of several nonprofit organizations. Heather currently provides nonprofit consulting services, volunteers as a Peer Reviewer for Maryland Nonprofit's Standards for Excellence program, and serves as a board member on a local nonprofit.
