One-on-One Health Insurance Review

The Maryland Health Connection, a creation of the Affordable Care Act, opened for business on October 1, 2013. In Baltimore City, the principal source of information and enrollment services for residents is Healthcare Access Maryland (HCAM). HCAM staff are trained to help you explore your potential new insurance options under the Affordable Care Act, to recommend appropriate insurance coverage, and to assist you in enrolling with an insurance provider through the new statewide marketplace.

Navigators from HCAM are available to help you in person at the Central Library on Tuesdays from 10am to 6pm, and on Fridays from 11am to 2pm. The service is drop-in. You can call HCAM at (877) 223-5201 for more information, or review their online events calendar.
