Cooley High (1975) is an acclaimed coming-of-age tale of high school students in mid-1960s Chicago. Considered a classic in African American cinema, Cooley High features Saturday Night Live alum Garrett Morris in a supporting role as a high school history teacher. PG. 107 minutes. Directed by Michael Schultz, starring Glynn Turman and Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs.
