Visiting Laura's Little Houses

In honor of the 150th anniversary of Laura Ingalls Wilder's birth, Ann Weller Dahl presents a video tour of the real sites of the "Little House" books.

Ann Weller Dahl taught for 31 years at Calvert School and, for the homeschooling division of the School, wrote detailed reading guides to the "Little House" books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. She has lectured widely on Laura Ingalls Wilder, including at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library in Iowa and at scholarly Wilder conferences.

I attended with my (adult) daughter, sister-in-law, and 12 year-old niece. We are all "Little House" fans, so it was fun to be in a room with Ms. Dahl and so many others who share our love for the Laura Ingalls Wilder stories.
I do want to add that the write-up in Currents indicated that this was a "video tour of the [sites]", but the actual presentation was a PowerPoint, so I think there was miscommunication or a mistake made when compiling the write-up.
Regardless, we enjoyed the presentation and learned a number of new things about the Wilder family!
