This year's Mencken Day Memorial Lecture will be delivered by author Thomas Frank. 

Thomas Frank is the author Listen, Liberal (2016), The Wrecking Crew (2008) and What's the Matter with Kansas? (2004), plus other books and many articles. His most recent book is The People, No: A Brief History of Anti-Populism (2020, 2021) and his new book on creativity and innovation will be published next year. A former columnist for The Wall Street Journal, Harper's and The Guardian, Frank is the founding editor of The Baffler."
