Experience Corps is an award winning AARP Foundation literacy program that helps struggling students become great readers. We use highly trained volunteers, who are 50 and over, to tutor students in kindergarten through third grade. Our work has been shown to improve the literacy rates of children, enrich the lives of our volunteers and strengthen schools in the communities we serve.
