Join the African American Department for an evening to watch Hidden Figures, a biographical drama film about three brilliant African-American women at NASA -- Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson. These ladies served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. This was a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. There will be an opportuinity to discuss this fun and exciting movie after the film. Refreshments will be served.
