POSTPONED: Caribbean American History Month: Film and Discussion- The Roots of Bob Marley: From A Government Yaad in Trench Town

In celebration of Caribbean-American Month, the I-niversal Development of Ras Tafari Inc. (IDOR) ) invites you to its 2019 Film and Panel Discussion Series, featuring,  “The Roots of Bob Marley: From A Government Yaad in Trench Town” a film on the life, philosophy and cultural contributions of Bob Marley's Ras Tafari teacher, Mortimer Planno.   

The event will also include a panel discussion with contributions from Ras Tafari historian, cultural anthropologist, and community activists.

Panel moderated by Ras Wayne Rose, a native of Kingston, Jamaica and Baltimore, Maryland. He holds a Ph.D. in African Diaspora History, with additional specializations in Early American and African American History from Morgan State University. Ras Wayne is the current Chairman of the Iniversal Development of Ras Tafari Inc. (IDOR), an African-centered organization that focuses on the teachings and life examples of Emperor Haile Selassie I.
