It's never too cold for science experiments! Visit the Waverly Branch to pick up a take and make kit that includes  materials and instructions on how to build a catapult out of popsicle sticks. Each kit also comes with a packet of hot cocoa mix and marshmallows to use as their target and launching object.

Teens will experiment with energy of motion in relation to distance by attempting to launch the marshmallows into a cup of hot cocoa. A fun science experiment paired with hot cocoa will warm up anyone on any winter's day.
