11:00 AM – Head over to our Children’s Department for a lively and educational STEM-themed story time—perfect for young learners and curious minds!

🧪 Hands-On STEM Workshops with BlackSONs 

BlackSONs, a local nonprofit dedicated to inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders will host a drop in hands-on robotics experience! Kids will explore the world of STEM by driving Sphero robots through fun challenges like bowling and obstacle courses — testing their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. 

🎨 Polymer Clay Keychain Workshop

11:00 AM & 1:00 PM in the MakerSpace
Design your own colorful keychain using polymer clay! Shape, decorate, and bake your creation to take home a custom piece of art—no experience needed. Great for all ages!

🧱 Community LEGO® Build

Harness the power of motion with the whole family! Using LEGO® bricks, we'll explore the science of kinetic energy by building spinning tops, see-saws, and more.

⚡ 1:00 PM – Spark Attack with Eric Energy!

Get ready for high-voltage fun! Eric Energy brings science to life with exciting demonstrations and audience participation.
