An examination of the promise of science, efficiency and measurement in improving quality of life in the first half of the twentieth century. We'll discuss the Fredericks' work in advertising, and the role of J. George and Christine in creating consumers and transforming society. We'll also take a look at one of J. George's publications from 1945 - 600 New Things We Will Have After the War.
