Comedy Showcase: Adam Ruben
Adam Ruben is a writer, comedian, and molecular biologist. He has been performing stand-up comedy for 20 years and teaches undergraduate comedy courses at Johns Hopkins and MICA. Adam has appeared on the Food Network, the Travel Channel, the Weather Channel, Discovery International, Netflix, and NPR; he currently hosts "Outrageous Acts of Science," "Ancient Mysteries Decoded," and "What on Earth?" on the Science Channel and is a writer for "Elinor Wonders Why" on PBS Kids. In addition to writing a monthly humor column in the otherwise respectable journal
Science, Adam is the author of two books:
