Also, join us for the "Journey thru the Nguzo Saba pt. 1", written and directed by Maridian Skyy! 5 young astronauts embark on a journey through space following their captain and confidant’s call to Mars. In the midst of their space trek, an asteroid hits them sending them through… a black hole? Join us on this quest of culture and values across the stars…

"Journey through the Nguzo Saba (part 1)" is written and directed by Maridian Skyy, performed by students of the JAMII Leadership Academy. It debuted as the first performance to hit the Cahill Rec Theater Stage in April 2024. 

Maridian Skyy is a Baltimore raised artist, organizer, facilitator, and creative director. Their forms manifest through poetry, photography, visual arts and other diverse, heart centered offerings
from the divine.
