Join us for a lively discussion about innovative ways people are creating to live their next chapter. From the Village model and co-housing, to artist colonies, trailer park cooperatives and house-sharing, Beth will share stories from her book, With a Little Help from Our Friends—Creating Community as We Grow Older, and discuss why social connection is so important to our health and wellbeing.
Beth has covered aging issues for nearly 25 years as a freelance journalist. Her work has appeared in the Washington Post, AARP Bulletin, Ms. Magazine and many other publications. She has also been a family caregiver and a hospice volunteer.
