Inviting all poets to join in this Ekphrastic writing workshop.

Ekphrastic writing is the practice of using visual art to inspire new literary work. In this program, poets and poets-to-be will transform the visual into the verbal using the diverse artworks housed in the African American Center; as well as other works of art by African American and African artist, as a springboard for their writing.
