  of sorority house Pi Kappa Sigma prepare for the festive season\, a viole
 nt stranger begins to stalk the house. Though he later became famous for d
 irecting another holiday classic\, A Christmas Story\, Bob Clark’s Black
  Friday was arguably the first “slasher” film and established many of 
 the now-familiar tropes associated with the genre. It was remade for telev
 ision in 2006 and again in 2019. The cast includes Keir Dullea\, John Saxo
 n and Margot Kidder. Winner of Best Performance by a Lead Actress (Olivia 
 Hussey) and Best Editing at the Canadian Film Awards. Nominated for Best H
