In director John Landis’ contribution to the werewolf genre, two friends, David and Jack (David Naughton and Griffin Dunne) encounter strange things on the moor, with disastrous consequences. A friendly nurse (Jenny Agutter) tries to be of help, but to no avail.

Rick Baker won an Academy Award for his makeup effects.
