Financial Therapy: An Overview

An opportunity to engage in a rich discussion on the intersection of money and emotion.

Attendees will explore their attitudes, beliefs, opinions, and behaviors toward money. The program will unpack the tenets of financial therapy, peering into financial behavior, behavior change, and wellness. Attendees will be briefed on compelling strategies, techniques, and interventions that support individuals and clients through the transformational process.

Facilitated by Heath Carelock of Carelosophy Social Impact Solutions, LLC. Carelock is the recipient of the 2022 'Community Champion' award from the Maryland State Department of Education, Maryland Council on Economic Education, and CASH Campaign of Maryland for demonstrating excellence in providing financial education in the state of Maryland. He is an Accredited Financial Counselor, Certified Financial Coach, Kansas State University Financial Therapy certificate holder and PMI certified Project Management Professional, serving as Program Director for the Financial Empowerment Center at Prince George’s Community College.
