Join staff from the Maryland Department at the Enoch Pratt Free Library for part 5 of our 5 part series, The Dark Side of Maryland!
Discover Green Mount Cemetery's long hidden and mysterious history. During the tour, we will visit the gravesite of Elijah Bond, who patented the Ouija Board, as well as the final resting places of other prominent Spiritualists of nineteenth century Baltimore. Librarian Julie Saylor will tell their stories, gleaned from family histories, newspaper accounts, and their own writings. Participants should come prepared to walk on stone paths and uneven, grassy ground.
Meet just inside the main gate, 1501 Greenmount Avenue. The tour will take place rain or shine.
