Plant some seeds and watch them grow with a gardening kit!

Join us to learn about food equity, community gardening, and a healthy environment. After a story, we will virtually visit Ms. Rodette at the Filbert Street Community Garden and, using our gardening kits, learn how to plant vegetables. Inside the kit: planting container, soil, seeds, instructions, and fact sheets.

From March 1 to 9, call one of these three locations to request your gardening kit and schedule a time to pick it up. Kits are available on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.

If you cannot visit one of these branches to pick up a gardening kit, you can still join us to watch or participate with your own supplies! Gather these supplies: soil, a container, seeds, water, paper, and a writing utensil.
