Healthy Little Cooks Presents: Lunch Bunch

Cook with Healthy Little Cooks as they take a slightly healthier and colorful spin on creating a delicious fruit tart. Decorated with fresh fruits and colored with vegetables, your little ones will be in fairytale heaven while they learn how to cook a magical dessert for the holidays.

 

Featured Recipe:  Unicorn Graham Cracker Fruit Tart

 

Ingredient List:

  • 12 graham crackers  
  • 6 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 1 8 oz Cream cheese, room temperature (or dairy free alternative)
  • 1 8 oz container of cool whip (or dairy free alternative)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 cups of fresh fruits such as blueberries and strawberries, kiwi, mango.
  • dash of turmeric
  • ½ beet or 1 tablespoon of beet or dark cherry juice

 

Equipment Needed:

  • Hand mixer
  • 1 large bowl
  • 2 medium bowls
  • 1 plate
  • Hand grater
  • 9x12 inch pan
  • 2 quart-sized Ziploc bags
  • 3 spoons
  • 1 spatula
  • Napkins

 

Prep-Work:

  • Have all ingredients and supplies on hand
  • Pre-measure all ingredients 
  • Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature 
  • Ensure coconut oil is melted
