Illustrating a Movement: Re-Creating Civil Rights-Era Posters

Memories of the Civil Rights Movement--memories that are living still--must be preserved to strengthen generation after generation of advocates for equal rights and diversity, equity, and inclusion. With this arts and craft event, teens will get to see posters created by Freedom Fighters to promote and spread the word about the Civil Rights Movement as it was happening, and then create their own versions that carry that memory onward to their generation and beyond.
