Ira's Shakespeare Dream is a book for children about Ira Aldridge, the celebrated African American Shakespearean actor. Written by Glenda Armand, the book is illustrated by the award-winning artist Floyd Cooper. Cooper's illustrations will be on display in the Carla D. Hayden wing of the Central Library beginning February 5, 2018.
