Appearing throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, the Rhonda Robinson Trio/Quartet has opened for poet/activist Amiri Baraka and Blue Ark Ensemble at Univ. of Baltimore and was chosen as the featured band for "A Night at Ethel's Place," a fundraiser for Concert Artists of Baltimore honoring legendary Baltimore jazz vocalist, Ethel Ennis. The ensemble was also selected to play for Billie Holiday's 100th birthday celebration following the dedication of artwork on the block of Billie's childhood home in Upper Fells Point. WEAA 88.9 FM jazz radio selected Rhonda for the 2013 Women in Jazz Panel Discussion and Jam Session at the Eubie Blake National Jazz Institution and Cultural Center along with Maysa, Navasha Daya, Gabrielle Goodman and others. Ms. Robinson has performed at numerous clubs, restaurants, festivals & private events including: Alice's Jazz and Cultural Society, An die Musik, The Johns Hopkins University, Federal Hill Jazz & Blues Festival, Tremont Hotels; Jazz Nights, Enoch Pratt Free Library's "Jazz in the Stacks" series, Charles Village Festival, Mt. Vernon Park Concert Series, The Walters Art Museum, Charles Village Summer Music Series at Peabody Heights Brewery, Lexington Market Concert Series, The Power of Age Expo, Old Town Bowie Saturday Concert Series, a 5 week West/Southwest tour with www.themonumentquilt.org, and many others.
