Join artist-in-residence SHAN Wallace for a day of cinema dedicated to celebrating and honoring Women's History Month.
Together, we acknowledge and celebrate the vital role of women in American history and film. By tending to women's role in film, we can imagine, explore, and pursue new words and narratives for enjoyment, but more importantly, for the reconfiguration of why we exist. The films selected assert the worlds of women directors and leading roles, into the lives of an audience, with hopes to encourage reflection, togetherness, and imagination.
