Ever wanted to learn how robots work? Then come join our series of hands-on lessons where members of the "Hopkinauts" (JHU's Mars Rover student robotics team) will guide you through the basics of coding a real robot, using the library's easy-to-learn Sphero BOLT bots! Every session uses a fun real-life robot activity to test your new skills. Best of all, these lessons are beginner-friendly - no coding experience necessary!
Every participant MUST bring a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone or tablet capable of downloading apps to use the coding software required for the lessons. Every session is limited to 10 attendees on a first-come first-served basis. Each lesson will build on the previous one to introduce new concepts, so consistent attendance is encouraged (but not required).
