Registration not required, but encouraged. Please register for the event here.

Get into the Halloween spirit with an hour of strange sightings, unsolved mysteries, and bizarre news. The mysterious intrigues us, especially at this time of year, so please join us in exploring the stranger side of Maryland history through our unique collections at the Maryland State Archives. Join Lead Reference Archivist and Search Room Coordinator, Rachel Frazier, as she shares spooky stories from the depths of the stacks.

As Search Room Coordinator at the Maryland State Archives, Rachel Frazier has over a decade of experience in assisting visitors, whether in person or by email, with their diverse genealogical, historical, and legal needs. Rachel has presented at regional and local history and library institutions, and starting in 2020, has been part of the team working to adapt the Archives' services in a time of crisis.

ASL interpretation will be available for attendees.

Presented in partnership with The Maryland State Archives and The Maryland Four Centuries Project.
