Meet Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Music Director Jonathon Heyward **SOLD OUT**

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s new music director Jonathon Heyward will discuss his life, music career, and his path to Baltimore.   He will be joined in conversation by Pratt Library President and CEO Heidi Daniel. 

Jonathon Heyward is the music director for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra   He originally trained as a cellist and chamber musician and has held the position of Assistant Conductor at both the Boston Conservatory opera department and the Boston Opera Collaborative, Associate Director of the Hampstead Garden Opera Company in London, Assistant Conductor of the Hallé Orchestra, and most recently Chief Conductor of the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie. 

Prior to the program, 6:45p - 7:00p, join us for a chamber music performance by members of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. 

  • THIS PROGRAM IS SOLD OUT.
  • Free parking vouchers are available to program attendees who park at the Franklin Street Garage (15 W. Franklin Street) after 4pm.  Ask Pratt event staff for your parking voucher prior to or after the program.
