Jason Reynolds: "There Was a Party for Langston" **SOLD OUT**

Award-winning author Jason Reynolds will share his debut picture book that celebrates the life and legacy of Langston Hughes.   He will be joined in conversation by bestselling author D. Watkins. 

About the Author: 

Jason Reynolds is the author of several award-winning books, including Look Both Ways, Long Way Down, and Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You (with Ibram X. Kendi).  He was the 2020-2022 National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature. 

About the Moderator: 

D. Watkins is the author of five books, editor-at-large for Salon, and a University of Baltimore lecturer.

Program Information: 

  • THIS PROGRAM IS SOLD OUT.
  • Doors will open to registered attendees at 1pm. 
  • All registered in-person attendees will receive a free copy of the book.
  • Free parking vouchers are available to program attendees who park at the Franklin Street Garage (15 W. Franklin Street).  Ask Pratt event staff for your parking voucher prior to or after the program.
