 ture will be presented by Michael Downs. A former newspaper reporter\, Mich
 ael Downs is the author of three books\, including most recently the novel\
 , The Strange and True Tale of Horace Wells\, Surgeon Dentist. He directs t
 he graduate program in professional writing at Towson University\, where he
  teaches courses in creative writing\, publishing\, and freelance writing. 
 His awards include a literature fellowship from the National Endowment for 
 the Arts. Beginning in October of this year\, he will serve as a Fulbright 
 Scholar in Krakow\, Poland.\n\nASL interpretation will be available for att
 endees.
