M&Ms Math

Here's a sweet way to learn about statistics: with M&Ms! Count the different colors in a bag of M&Ms and discover if you can predict how often each color will appear in any bag of M&Ms.

From January 7th to 21st, call 443-984-3912 to request your M&Ms math kit and schedule a time to pick it up through sidewalk service at the Northwood branch. Kits are available on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.

If you are not able to visit the Northwood branch to pick up your M&Ms math kit, you can still join us for our program! Before joining, gather a bag of M&Ms (traditional size, 1.69 oz.) and print out the program worksheet.
