NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), in partnership with Arts Midwest, designed to broaden our understanding of our world, our communities, and ourselves through the joy of sharing a good book.
Join us for a book discussion of Lab Girl by award-winning scientist Hope Jahren. Hope is a geoscientist and Lab Girl recounts her story of becoming a respected scientist, including setbacks, triumphs, and friendships along the way.
