Enoch Pratt Free Library is thrilled to partner with Our Time Kitchen to bring you a summer series of hands-on culinary workshops. Each second Monday of the month, a featured chef from Our Time Kitchen will share their food journey and a favorite dish they love to cook. You will have the opportunity to see first hand the step-by-step process they take in making one of their favorite recipes. There will be opportunities to help prepare and taste the final dish, and everyone will take a complete recipe home.
On June 10th, join Chef Maynard, founder of Nafasi Catering. Nafasi’s mission is to offer healthy and innovative fare to the Baltimore/DMV area and influence global change by creating an inclusive environment centered around food and fellowship. Chef Maynard provides private catering as well as pop-up experiences at local markets and events. He teaches cooking classes at Our Time Kitchen that center around telling a cultural and historically relevant story to the foods he is preparing.
This event is part of Pratt Test Kitchen, celebrating the diversity and creativity of Baltimore’s culinary scene through a wide range of free events and programs for all ages.
