You’re invited to be part of the LIVE studio audience for the National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre’s audio drama adaptation of “The Mystery of Marie Roget!” Registration is required as space in this program is limited.
A radio drama adaptation of the second story in Edgar Allan Poe’s Auguste Dupin mysteries, come hear live voice actors bring this story to life! Dupin and his assistant unravel the unsolved murder of Marie Roget, a Paris perfume store worker. The radio drama will feature original musical underscore and sound effects to create a “theatre of the mind” experience for listeners.
The Mystery of Marie Roget script was written by James Comtois and directed by Alex Zavistovich.
This event is being held in partnership with the National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre, the only theatre in the world dedicated to bringing Poe’s works to life onstage, on the air, and in the classroom in Baltimore and beyond. Their Poe Theatre on the Air audio dramas have won awards of excellence from the Hear Now Festival and an award for Best Adaptation from The International Edgar Allan Poe Festival.
