Open Mic Night: Poems of Power & Endurance

Black History Month is a call to remember and also to celebrate the generations of Black Americans who triggered revolutionary acts of love and equal rights in every form of art: painting, film, music, literature and, poetry.

This open mic night invites you to read aloud a poem you wrote--or a poem someone else wrote--that speaks to two pillars of Black strength and love in the past and present: Power and Endurance.
