About this Event
400 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201
Join us for a discussion of Persepolis:The Story of a Childhood (Persepolis Volume One) by Marjane Satrapi. This program has a hybrid format. Participate either in person or on Zoom.
Reserve The Complete Persepolis in print. (We will discuss only the first part, ending with "The Dowry.")
Request the print book through interlibrary loan when all Pratt copies are checked out.
For help obtaining a copy of the book or more information about the book club, please email fic@prattlibrary.org.
"An intelligent and outspoken only child, Satrapi — the daughter of radical Marxists and the great-granddaughter of Iran's last emperor — bears witness to a childhood uniquely entwined with the history of her country."
