About this Event
400 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201
#prattwindowThe Pratt Library put a call out to local university students and Maryland residents over the age of eighteen to select one book from a list of twenty children‘s titles provided to create their interpretation to be displayed in one of the Central Library’s famous Cathedral Street windows. From 87 entries, a panel of eight judges selected six entries to be displayed in six windows. We also invited the artists to share their submissions in a companion exhibit located in the Annex.
We encouraged the public to vote for their favorite window out of the six on Cathedral Street in person at a balance box located at the branch, or online at www.prattlibrary.org/windows until December 31.
The exhibit runs through January 18, 2015. The contest and exhibit were made possible in part by a generous grant by the William G. Baker, Jr. Memorial Fund.
