Join us for a conversation with a Baltimore community innovator in the food justice space. This month’s feature is Rodette Jones of the Filbert Street Garden. Hosted by Northwood Branch manager, Kinshasa Vargas-Pile.

Rodette Jones is a resident of Curtis Bay and the Filbert Street Garden Manager. She has worn several hats in the community which include Community Engagement Coordinator, Community Leader, Library volunteer and board member on several boards in the South Baltimore Community. The joy of working with the residents from children to adults giving them the opportunity to experience farm life through engaging with animals and learning to plant vegetables to sustain a healthy diet in a high priority food area in South Baltimore. She loves the farm life and teaching children how to make eating vegetables fun from farm to table.
