Did you know that October 8th is World Octopus Day? Mark the occasion at the Orleans Street Branch by helping us make a giant paper octopus! Children and their families will use coloring supplies and animal stamps to decorate strips of paper, which we will to turn into eight simple daisy chains to give our octopus its colorful tentacles!

The octopus will be on display in the children's section for the month of October, as a reminder to sign up for Read to Reef Book Club, while bookmarks last.
