In this 5-part class, participants will:

• Explore the primary operations of a computer and a brief history of the PC (personal computer).
• Learn how to use a mouse and keyboard to perform various tasks with easy to follow practice exercises in Microsoft Word. 
• Navigate the basic steps of using a PC including the boot up and shut down process.
• Identify parts of a computer.
• Learn online safety shopping tips, common internet threats and solutions, how to recognize domain names, identify secure websites, and steps to select and update virus protection software.
• Create an email account using Gmail. Learn how to open and send emails with attachments.
