Join us for Enoch Pratt Free Library’s FREE luncheon series, which offers patrons an afternoon of engaging conversations, performances, and activities. Pratt is excited to work in partnership with several community organizations to bring in a variety of dynamic presenters and performers, with rich academic and artistic backgrounds to lead these programs.
What’s on the menu:
October’s luncheon will feature a presentation from Pratt’s own Eben Dennis, Manager of Special Collections, which will delve into Pratt’s Edgar Allan Poe Collection to gain a rare glimpse into Poe’s life and mysterious death. Participants will have the opportunity to view letters, manuscripts, personal effects, and more from Pratt’s collection. Pratt will also be welcoming members of the National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre for a dramatic reading.
Before lunch, participants will be invited to either take part in our regular book discussion group led by Pratt Librarians or engage in some spooky seasonal crafts.
Lunch and all supplies will be provided.
Please contact Madelyn McCaully at mmccaully@prattlibrary.org or 410-396-5494, if you have questions about registration or to arrange for FREE transportation from designated locations.
