Gayle Danley is a former national and international poetry slam champion. She conducts poetry workshops throughout the Baltimore City School System and she also uses her poetry to help people who are struggling to handle the loss of a loved one.
This indoor program has limited spaces and pre-registration is recommended. To register, please call the Hamilton Branch at (410) 396-6088. Walk-ins are also accepted until the program reaches maximum capacity.

Following this program, participants are invited to join us for a fun virtual showcase on May 3rd at 3:30pm. Participants from the Edmondson Avenue, Hamilton, and Pennsylvania Avenue branches will gather virtually to strut their stuff, share the poems they've written, receive helpful feedback and much applause from each other (and the instructors) and learn about opportunities to continue developing as writers and performers!
