Join us as we share our thoughts and impressions about the monthly book choice. This is an informal, librarian-led discussion. The reading selections are mostly fiction choices with a sprinkling of non-fiction, genre fiction, and classics with an emphasis on diversity & inclusion.

January's book: March: Book One
This graphic novel is Congressman John Lewis' first-hand account of his lifelong struggle for civil and human rights, meditating in the modern age on the distance traveled since the days of Jim Crow and segregation.

February's book: Kindred
Dana, a modern black woman, is celebrating her twenty-sixth birthday with her new husband when she is snatched abruptly from her home in California and transported to the antebellum South.
