About this Event
3601 Eastern Avenue Baltimore, MD 21224
Celebrate Irish-American Heritage Month by making your own Brigid's Cross. Brigid's crosses are associated with Brigid of Kildare, one of the patron saints of Ireland, and the goddess Brigid, one of the Tuatha Dé Danann. Traditionally, Brigid's crosses were made from woven rushes at festivals celebrating spring and were hung over doorways to protect homes from evil, fire, and hunger.
Stop by anytime in March and pick up your bag of supplies and directions to create this uniquely Irish design. (while supplies last)
