Teens will get a chance to imagine a new cityscape: if you could build your own tower, what would it look like? How would you decorate the rooms inside?

Participants will each construct a multi-story Tower of Power by transforming wooden boxes into miniature rooms, then stacking and gluing those rooms together to create a unique building. Each building created will become part of a Community Art Exhibit in our Teen Zone, which will be on display as the Orleans Street Branch re-opens in the Spring of 2025.

This is an opportunity for teens to leave their mark in the library— the Towers of Power in this imaginary cityscape will become a reminder of just how vibrant our community is, when we let teens express their creativity and reflect their personal styles out into the world. Remember to come back once the rennovations at the Orleans Street Branch are complete, so you can visit your art and show it off!
